Job Details:

Tyson’s Regulatory law group is seeking to add a new member to our team.  This position is responsible for advising the business on regulatory matters with an emphasis on areas regulated by the United States Department of Agriculture.  The ideal candidate will have experience engaging with the Packers & Stockyards Division and Food Safety and Inspection Service. Candidates should be familiar with both standard and complex legal concepts, practices, and procedures and will be expected to assist with advising the business on a variety of regulatory matters as needed.    

All candidates must be able to work collaboratively. Candidates must exhibit the executive presence, forward thinking, competence, and professionalism needed to earn the trust of members of the company’s senior management team.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Law degree from an accredited law school and a license to practice law in at least one jurisdiction.

Experience: 4 plus years of legal experience or equivalent combination of experience, specialized certification, licensure or advanced degree

Computer Skills: Standard computer skills.

Communication Skills: Superior written and verbal communication skills.

Special Skills: A team player who effectively communicates with and responds to clients in a timely manner. Must work independently and exercise excellent judgment in performing all tasks.

Supervisory: None. 

Location:  Springdale, Arkansas or Washington D.C. 

Travel: Some travel may be required.
