Job Summary and Qualifications

Healthcare Collections Staff Attorney is responsible for providing routine legal services in support of daily operations of assigned business unit(s) under direction of Counsel. Responsibilities may include legal research, drafting and negotiation, as well as analysis of outcomes and operational results.  

What you will do in this role:

• Legal research and analysis of regulations, documents and policies 
• Review and negotiate effective resolution of assigned matters 
• Assist in development of policies and guidance 
• Work with legal and business team members to support accurate and timely documentation of status on assigned matters 
• Other responsibilities and special projects as assigned  

What qualifications you will need:

• Juris Doctorate Degree
• Healthcare collections experience highly preferred
• Claims experience preferred
• prior experience working with healthcare revenue cycle vendors preferred
• Minimum 3 years legal experience. Relevant business experience may substitute legal experience requirement with Supervisor approval.
• License to practice law in good standing
