Join our client’s dynamic team and play an integral role in guiding our business through the complex legal landscape. We're looking for a standout Legal Counsel, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about making a difference.

What you'll do:

  • Offer invaluable legal advice on day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with contracts, laws, and regulations.
  • Masterfully draft, negotiate, and review an array of contracts and agreements.
  • Assist in the proactive management of federal, state, and local procurement processes.
  • Enhance our compliance culture by supporting audits, attestations, and internal investigations.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring legislative and regulatory shifts impacting our operations.
  • Partner with IT to optimize the Legal Department's efficiency, especially our upcoming contract management system.
  • Tackle diverse legal tasks as they arise.

You bring:

  • A Juris Doctor Degree and membership in the Massachusetts Bar.
  • 4+ years of rich experience in transactional, corporate, and compliance roles. Preference for those with in-house or prominent firm backgrounds.
  • Profound knowledge of governmental procurement, with a bonus for federal procurement insights.
  • Expertise in crafting contractual documents and a deep understanding of information privacy and security mandates.
  • Acquaintance with the healthcare arena, especially Medicaid and Medicare regulations.
  • Adeptness in drafting precise, clear documents and an analytical, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Exceptional legal, writing, and interpersonal prowess.
  • A versatile legal toolkit reflecting the multifaceted responsibilities of this role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
