Legal.io is working with a prominent multinational technology company to add a Regulatory Investigations Counsel to its Legal team.

 

This position will assist in the company's continued commitment to comply with laws, regulations and policies governing its business, finance, and accounting activities globally. As part of the Regulatory Investigations Team, you will direct internal investigations and provide legal advice on compliance issues and programs.

 

This is a remote, 40 hours/week, 18-month engagement.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • 5+ years of work experience in internal/corporate investigations or government investigations.
  • Experience in internal/corporate investigations or government investigations within/on behalf of/into a multi-national company or other large complex organization.
  • Ability to apply sound, principled, and consistent judgment in a fast-moving and challenging legal and business environment.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial, business, and legal issues and communicate them in a clear and concise fashion.
  • Foreign language skills are a plus.

 

Requirements:

 

  • JD. or equivalent law degree.
  • Licensed to practice or have an active bar membership in any state within the US.
  • Quickly able to integrate into a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex ideas to legal and non-legal audiences.

 

Logistics:

 

  • Location: Remote - United States
  • Start Date: end of November 2023
  • Duration: 18 months
  • Hours: 40hrs/week
  • Rate: $70/hr - $115/hr ($140k - $230k/year equivalent)
