**Position Summary

** The Contracts Specialist is a key member of the CAM Legal Department team who, under the supervision of the CAM Contracts Manager (US & Canada), assists in the review and negotiation of customer contract provisions including indemnities, warranties, and other legal and commercial terms; manages processing of customer contracts, subcontracts, and vendor contracts.

**Responsibilities

**

• Review, redline, and negotiate customer master service agreements and other commercial agreements
• Coordinate inter-department reviews
• Engage in contract strategy sessions
• Negotiate with customers and vendors
• Review, revise, and communicate exceptions to RFQs, tenders, and other similar documents
• Participate in initiatives to establish, implement, and improve the Legal Department structure and processes
• Prepare contract summary of executed contracts for use by operations team and other departments
• Review Scopes of Work (SoW) and/or Purchase Orders (PO)
• Contracts Process Management
• Maintain Contracts Management System (CMS)
• Generate and distribute CMS reports
• Manage corporate structure documents and subsidiary compliance
• Other duties suitable to the position

**Qualifications

**

• Business Administration or related field
• Paralegal or related training or certification, ideal
• Minimum four years industrial experience; primarily working in Contracts or Legal Departments or JDs who have recently passed the Bar exam.
