NVIDIA is looking to hire an export attorney to partner with our General Counsel and Director of Global Trade Compliance. In this legal and trade policy-focused role, you will be working directly with NVIDIA business unit leads, legal, PR, Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Finance as you will be helping set policy, providing legal advice, and assisting in the coordination of worldwide activities involved in import and export regulatory compliance. You will interact with regulatory agencies such as the Department of Commerce and the Department of Defense to help NVIDIA acquire licenses and/or CCATS. NVIDIA’s Legal Department operates at the intersection of law and technology. We provide legal solutions impacting some of the most important trends in technology, including graphics, artificial intelligence, and high-performance computing. As a team, we engage with engineers and management on a vast array of novel legal issues across the world.

**What You'll Be Doing

**

  • You will be a critical member of the Legal team, together with our General Counsel and our Director of Global Trade Compliance, responsible for implementing policy, providing legal advice, export subject matter expertise and coordinating activities involved in export/import regulatory compliance.

**What We Need To See

**

  • Law Degree with active bar status and with experience in export/import compliance (or equivalent experience)
  • 8+ overall years’ experience in compliance management with 3+ years of demonstrated experience managing compliance activities in a multi-national company
  • Exceptional oral and written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Strong collaboration and influence skills with demonstrated ability to bring together multiple diverse stakeholders to achieve objectives required
  • Experience working with senior management and ability to work well with and relate to company personnel at all levels
  • Strong customer focus and support Ability to apply and analyze government regulatory requirements in complex scenarios
  • Skilled at developing and leading high-performance teams
  • Global mindset with proven ability to partner cross culturally
  • Excellent organizational, priority management and planning skills
  • Ability to think creatively, function independent and work proactively, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Handle complexity and multiple demands with a sense of urgency, drive and enthusiasm

The base salary range is 176,000 USD - 270,250 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
