** Attorney | Full-Time

  • Los Angeles OR Orange County
  • Pay: $125K DOE + Full Benefits (medical, dental, vision, and PTO)

**Day-To-Day:

**

  • Litigation
    • Evaluate cases
    • Complete discovery
    • Draft and file lawsuits
    • Lead full-cycle efforts e.g. planning, organizing, and preparation of counter/arguments
    • Bring cases to settlement or trial
  • Client Relations
    • Provide legal advice
    • Build rapport, trust, and instill confidence
    • Serve as a friendly and well-informed internal point of contact
    • Keep clients abreast of case development, updates, and next steps
    • Conduct legal research and relay legal concepts in an easy-to-digest manner
  • Client Documents
    • Review governing documents e.g. CC&R, bylaws, rules, etc., in addition to state and federal laws
    • Draft opinions based on document review and analysis
    • Prepare and draft client letters and legal documents
  • Depositions
    • Defend client and expert depositions
  • Other
    • Prepare vendor contracts
    • Attend board meetings (Zoom and in-person)

**Qualifications:

**

  • Licensed CA attorney with litigation experience
  • Two to three years of experience in corporate/business law
  • Excellent communication; strong analytical, legal research and writing skills
  • Polished and professional demeanor; client-oriented; works with a sense of duty
