This firm is seeking an individual with a minimum of 5 years of defense experience in areas such as general liability, premises liability, auto accidents, worksite accidents, products liability cases, or construction defect cases. Additional experience in appellate work is considered a valuable asset.
**Responsibilities

- Manage a diverse caseload and handle all aspects of assigned cases, including discovery, motion practice, and trials.
- Conduct thorough legal research and provide insightful analysis to develop effective legal strategies.
- Prepare persuasive written documents, including pleadings, briefs, and motions, while maintaining a high standard of excellence in legal writing.
- Represent clients in court proceedings and demonstrate exceptional advocacy skills during trials.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and support staff, fostering a cooperative and results-oriented team environment.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in civil litigation laws and regulations to provide informed advice and counsel to clients.
**Requirements

- The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in research and writing, with trial experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of defense experience in civil litigation, with a focus on areas such as general liability, premises liability, auto accidents, worksite accidents, products liability cases, or construction defect cases.
- Demonstrated trial experience, showcasing a proven track record of success in the courtroom.
- Exceptional research and writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, enabling the identification of innovative legal strategies.
- Detail-oriented and organized approach to handling caseloads, ensuring timely completion of tasks and deadlines.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and Texas Bar License.
