We are seeking a skilled professional to provide comprehensive legal services to our clients, guiding them through divorce, child custody, adoption, and other family-related cases.

Location: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid)

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal representation and guidance to clients in a wide range of family law matters, including divorce, child custody and support, spousal support, adoption, domestic violence, and prenuptial agreements.
• Conduct consultations with clients to understand their needs, goals, and legal rights, and provide sound legal advice accordingly.
• Prepare and file legal documents, such as petitions, complaints, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Represent clients in family court hearings, mediation sessions, and settlement negotiations.
• Conduct legal research to stay current with relevant laws, regulations, and precedents affecting family law cases.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to the bar and authorized to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Minimum 3 years experience practicing family law in a law firm setting.
• Strong knowledge of family law, including divorce, child custody, support, and adoption laws.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with clients and handle sensitive situations.
• Exceptional legal research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
