**Job Description

** We are looking for a Paralegal to join our growing company. The Paralegal will provide essential support to our General Counsel in legal matters. The Paralegal will perform a wide range of tasks, including research, document preparation, client communication, and administrative duties, to facilitate the smooth functioning of legal processes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Legal Research: Conduct in-depth legal research using various resources like databases, libraries, and online tools to gather relevant information for cases.
• Document Preparation: Draft and prepare legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and affidavits. Ensure accuracy and adherence to legal standards.
• Case Management: Assist in managing and organizing case files, documents, and evidence. Maintain an updated and organized filing system.
• Client Communication: Communicate with clients to gather information, provide updates, and address inquiries. Maintain professional and courteous client relations.
• Court Filings: Prepare and file legal documents with courts, agencies, and other relevant parties. Ensure compliance with deadlines and procedural requirements.
• Assist in Trial Preparation: Help in preparing attorneys for trials, hearings, and depositions by organizing exhibits, coordinating witnesses, and drafting trial briefs.
• Legal Administrative Support: Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.
• Contract Review: Review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to identify important terms and potential issues.
• Legal Compliance: Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations that may impact cases. Assist in ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
• Collaboration with Attorneys: Work closely with General Counsel to provide support and assist in various stages of legal proceedings.

Qualifications:

• Education: A degree or certificate in paralegal studies, legal studies, or a related field. Some positions may require additional certifications or specialized training.
• Legal Knowledge: Strong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and principles.
• Research Skills: Proficiency in conducting legal research using both online and offline resources.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client interactions and drafting legal documents.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and maintain an organized filing system.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in using legal software, word processing, and research tools.
• Ethical Conduct: Adherence to ethical guidelines and confidentiality standards in handling sensitive information.
• Experience: Previous experience in a legal setting or as a paralegal is preferred, but entry-level positions may be available for candidates with relevant education and internships.
