**Job Description

** Takeda Pharmaceuticals USA, Inc. is seeking a Senior Counsel, Data, Technology & Innovation in Lexington, MA with the following requirements: LLM from an ABA accredited law school and member of a state bar in the United States plus 10 years of related experience OR JD from an ABA accredited law school and member of a state bar in the United States plus 10 years of related experience. Required skills: Analyze information of a technical, scientific, and/or business nature to advise legally sensible business structure to develop and deploy digital products associated with pharmaceutical or vaccine products; identify potential legal issues associated with research and development and commercialization of pharmaceutical or vaccine products in major market countries, such as the U.S. and Japan; propose feasible risk mitigation plans to diverse stakeholders, including executive and senior leaders, in consultation with IP and/or regional counsels; identify internal stakeholders, policy, guidance and SOPs relevant to data and digital initiatives in a highly matrixed global organization; advise on legal matters in a life sciences space (10 years); in-house counsel experience in global biopharmaceutical company (3 years). Up to 10% domestic and international travel required. Up to 40% remote work allowed.
