** This is a strong opportunity for a qualified and experienced patent attorney or patent agent within a booming patent practice. This firm has a great culture wherein, even as an associate or patent agent, you are given an excellent opportunity to interact with and manage existing clients, while being mentored and supported in business development activities. This firm is continuing to expand and is looking for talent to help them meet client demand. Notably, this practice has a track record of keeping its people. Here you can truly grow as a well rounded patent practitioner and build on your skills.
The driving need is for practitioners with excellent writing skills who know how to translate invents into quality, defendable patents that provide value. Ideally, you will likely have drafted at least 40 patents and truly enjoy the patent drafting and prosecution process. Substantive experience relating to IP agreements, IPR's, trademarks, or IP litigation, that can certainly be leveraged here, but is not required. This primarily relates to domestic clients, subsequently, experience dealing with other jurisdictions and foreig associates is not required but also can be leveraged.
If you happen to be a rainmaker and/or are in the process of growing your own book of business, this is an excellent platform with a cooperative culture. No existing book is required or expected, but candidates with portables are encouraged to inquire and apply.
**Patent Attorney Qualifications
**
- Minimum of 2 years of quality, full-time, patent writing and prosecution experience
- State Bar and USPTO Bar
- Technical background in engineering, computer science, or physics
**Patent Agent Qualifications
**
- Minimum of 4 years of quality, full-time, patent writing and prosecution experience
- USPTO Bar
- Technical background in engineering, computer science, or physics
