Austin Real Estate Attorney (2-4 years of experience)
Winstead PC is seeking a 2-4 year attorney for a position with our Real Estate Development & Investments practice group in Austin to work under Shareholders Bob Burton , Kristi Stotts , and Mark Grobmyer . This position is a growth position with a clear path toward advancement in the firm. This position will include acquisition, development, and horizontal and vertical mixed-use, residential and commercial planned community work for local, regional and national builders and developers both in Texas and nationally. The position is a collaborative and interactive practice with an Austin, Texas based practice group which presently includes 14 attorneys and 7 paralegals. The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:
- Real Estate Transactions: Experience with the acquisition, disposition, and development of residential and/or commercial real estate.
- AmLaw 200 Experience: Familiarity with the pace and expectations of sophisticated law firm work.
- Strong academics: Candidates should be able to provide a transcript from a top tier law school.
- Writing skills: Candidates should be proficient at complex legal drafting.
