Corporate Attorney

We have an immediate opening in our Oakland office for a Corporate Attorney with four to eight years of experience preferred in either a law firm or in-house with a business or governmental entity. The candidate will have a general corporate background, with experience in structuring and advising LLCs, corporations, and partnerships, reviewing and drafting commercial contracts and business agreements, and corporate governance. The candidate will also exhibit a commitment to superb client communication and service. The position will work significantly with attorneys in our Healthcare, Life Sciences & Education strategic business unit, so prior experience in the healthcare industry or education is desirable, but not mandatory.
The ideal candidate will have excellent academic credentials, a commitment to the community, superior interpersonal skills and a demonstrated record of working well under pressure. The candidate should demonstrate exceptional judgment, the ability to effectively handle multiple projects, and the ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action. Candidates should have an active California bar license or commit to obtaining one as soon as possible.
Pursuant to applicable state laws the compensation range for this position in Oakland is $220,000 to $250,000 for a full-time attorney, commensurate with qualifications and experience, with the option of a reduced schedule. In addition, employees receive a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, and vision. Candidates for this role may be fully in-office or elect a hybrid in-office and remote schedule.
