The Policy, Communications & Administration Office welcomes your interest in the Legal Administrative Assistant (Temporary Aide) position.
**Responsibilities In This Position Include
**
- General administrative duties and special projects and duties assigned by managers and Division Director that arise on an as needed basis.
- Initiate and complete travel requests, receiving reports, eclearance, conference room scheduling, official function forms, office supply ordering and distribution; meeting scheduling and logistics; photocopying; faxing; word processing; data entry. Special projects will likely include assisting the Trust Policy and Recoveries Section with trust compliance projects, which would include drafting and sending standard form correspondence.
- Responsible for mail duties related to the Legal Division.
- Retrieve mail that has been processed by the Operations team, organize and scan all mail for respective recipients throughout the Legal Division on a daily basis.
- Printing and mailing letters on behalf of Legal Division team members working remotely.
- Work closely with supervisors and managers to continue the process of scanning and archiving of legal documents.
- Work to adhere to the current archiving process and create new scanning archiving process for documents that qualify for digital storage.
- Continue to file paper copies of certain legal documents until process can be updated across the office.
- For the Trust Policy and Recoveries Section, this position responsible for data entry into case management system and organization of shared inbox.
Minimum Qualifications, Substitutions, Conditions of Employment & Appeal Rights
**Minimum Qualifications
** Two years of experience in clerical or administrative experience
**Substitutions
** Additional appropriate education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis
**Preferred Qualifications
**
- Prior state of Colorado experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Paralegal certification
**Highly desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well independently
