As a Senior Paralegal located in Battle Creek, MI or Chicago, IL you will use your advanced people and organizational skills to support the Transactions Practice Group attorneys and assist as a corporate paralegal working on Corporate Books, Securities Filings and Communicating with our Board of Directors.   Your passion for interpersonal relationships and accomplishing goals is a key ingredient to your success.

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING 

  • Board of Directors Coordination - You will work with a senior team to make accurate, timely Board materials and postings and maintain records of board communications and other board related matters.
  • Securities Filings/NYSE Compliance and Public Disclosures - You will work with a team to make accurate, timely filings and submission of SEC Section 16 Forms 3, 4, 5, and filings with the New York Stock Exchange for annual, quarterly and interim disclosures. 
  • Annual Proxy Statement/Annual Shareowner Meeting - Work with a senior team to help prepare a successful annual proxy statement and mailing, and help coordinate the WK Kellogg Co annual meeting of shareholders.
  • Corporate Books - Maintain the corporate and organizational books of WK Kellogg Co and its subsidiaries, by preparing corporate documents and forms to effectively support Company initiatives and maintain compliance with state and government regulations.

 

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

Required:

  • High School Diploma and 6-10 years’ experience supporting legal team or senior management
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint
  •  Strong analytical and interpersonal communication skills and detail orientation  
  • Must possess strong organizational skills and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Capable of managing a cross-functional project
  • Ability to interact and communicate complex and technical information across multiple levels
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • History as a corporate paralegal with capabilities to work on Corporate Books, Securities Filings and communicating with Board of Directors
