Senior Counsel
We have an exciting opportunity within the web3 technology sector, seeking a talented Senior Counsel to spearhead their legal function. Our client offers a streamlined solution for web3 onboarding, revolutionizing customer relationships for businesses of all sizes. Since its inception only a few years ago, this company has experienced remarkable growth, boasting year-over-year expansion exceeding 300%. Collaborating with industry giants and backed by iconic investors, it has raised over $80M in a few short years. This position presents a unique opportunity to contribute to the company's next phase of growth and innovation and would work alongside the executive team. This role requires experience in a commercially focused legal capacity within a high-growth SaaS business or coming directly from a technology transactions group at a top law firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate SaaS subscription licensing agreements, EULA, and ToS agreements.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of data protection and privacy regulations, applying this knowledge to SaaS and commercial contract negotiations.
- Collaborate on the development and enhancement of contract templates and negotiation playbooks, providing internal training for a seamless customer contracting experience.
- Become an expert in the company's product platform, security, operations, and offerings, offering practical and strategic counseling related to sales contracts.
Requirements:
- 4-8 years (mid-level to senior associate) of relevant IP technical transactions experience.
- Expertise in enterprise SaaS commercial and sales contracts.
- Experience with privacy law is highly preferred
