Legal.io is searching for an an experienced Product Counsel to join a leading social networking and technology company's IP Product legal team.

This person should have the following experience:

• Strong copyright experience (rather than trade mark or patent experience) in particular in relation to fair use, intermediary liability
• Product counseling experience – working with product teams to identify IP issues arising in new product proposals
• Experience with technology and ideally with AI products

This role will include:

• Providing advice and counsel regarding copyright, intermediary liability, unfair competition) advice for new product launches across the family of apps
• Providing advice and counsel regarding developing AI products

Position details:

• Full-time, w2 Contract Role (40 hours per week)
• Initial term: 6 months
• Location: Remote (US)
