We are seeking an experienced Senior Real Estate Paralegal with strong expertise in commercial real estate and title transactions to create, file, and maintain documents; perform project and asset due diligence; support business development transactions; draft lease and option agreements; and ensure reporting and compliance obligations are met.

You Will:

  • Report to Senior Real Estate Counsel
  • Manage and maintain the process for forming special purpose LLCs in multiple jurisdictions
  • Manage and maintain a large volume of corporate entities in various jurisdictions, with an emphasis on reporting and compliance obligations
  • Perform project and asset due diligence including review of title commitments, pro forma policies, surveys and underlying title documents, entity documents, coordinate and implement transactions and closings
  • Manage and maintain the process for recording real estate documents with the applicable jurisdiction and prepare any ancillary documents required for recording
  • Organize and maintain project due diligence using internal and external document management systems
  • Support business development transactions, including data room creation and maintenance, coordinating title services and policy issuance
  • Support document preparation, including drafting of lease and option agreements, memorandum of leases, easement agreements, limited liability company agreements, subordination and non-disturbance agreements, and estoppel certificates

What You Bring to the Team:

  • 7+ years of experience in commercial real estate and title transactions; prior experience in drafting lease agreements, option agreements, and experience in reviewing title commitments and surveys strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, or related field and/or Paralegal Certification highly preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite and applications, especially Excel, Word, Outlook, and OneDrive; or Google Sheets, Docs, Calendar, and Drive
  • Strong fact-finding, drafting, writing and research skills
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability and demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and critical thinking skills
  • Impeccable attention to detail and adherence to deadlines
  • Exceptional time and project management skills, including managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-growth, results-driven environment
  • Success building rapport and collaborating with others internally and externally
  • Commitment to quality and continuous improvement of processes
