Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Personal Injury Litigation Attorney:

#1. Active California bar membership in good standing.

#2. 3-5 years of experience in plaintiff personal injury litigation.

Responsibilities Of The Personal Injury Litigation Attorney

• Managing a caseload of 30-40 cases acting as the lead attorney through all aspects of litigation from filing through trial
• Developing case strategies and theories
• Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Taking and defending depositions including plaintiff, defendant, experts, and more
• Engaging in settlement negotiations
• Acting as second chair in trials
• Maintaining client communication to provide updates on case progress
• Overseeing and directing Paralegal and other support staff

Requirements Of The Personal Injury Litigation Attorney

• 3-5 years of experience in plaintiff personal injury litigation.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active California bar membership in good standing
• Proven track record of successfully managing a caseload and resolving cases for high value
• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Client-focused approach with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High ethical standards and commitment to professional integrity.

Other Key Requirements

• 100% in office
• No sponsorships or visa holders. No Corp-to-Corp.
