Hybrid (Midtown Manhattan) RESPONSIBILITIES: Responds to conflict search requests from attorneys and the Office of the General Counsel by generating timely and comprehensive conflict reports; Performs initial analysis of conflict reports and communicates that analysis Processes requests through the digital New Business Intake system to open new clients and new matters. Performs conflict searches and provides analysis on previous work experience of lateral partners and incoming associates; Conducts research to confirm corporate structures and management profiles; Assists in the resolution of actual, possible and potential conflicts. Escalates conflict issues as necessary; Utilizes the ethical wall application to create necessary screens; Contribute to process, procedure, and technology improvements in order to reduce risk and improve efficiency. REQUIREMENTS: 3+ years of experience in conflicts searching or related experience in a law firm Bachelor’s Degree is required Interact with people at all levels with a high degree of accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism. Excellent work ethic and strong teamwork skills in a high volume, minimally staffed environment Must be organized, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines with a calm, pleasant demeanor Must be able to work with minimal supervision, make independent, well thought out decisions
