_ The Counsel provides comprehensive, high volume, heavy transactional legal support to the various divisions of the PGA TOUR and its subsidiaries. Experience with commercial transactions including mergers and acquisitions, real estate matters and/or managing intellectual property portfolios a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and J.D. degree required
  • Minimum of five (5) years law firm and/or in-house counsel experience in transactional matters preferred
  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office software products to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Performs all aspects of in-house legal counsel including providing legal advice to internal clients;
  • Draft and revise contracts related to the operation of tournaments, digital operations, and production of golf content;
  • Assist in managing intellectual property portfolio;
  • Provide legal guidance and advice to various internal departments;
  • Drafts and reviews contracts related to licensing issues, club & membership issues and some real estate matters (e.g. easements, site surveys, etc.);
  • Assist senior attorneys in the departments with complex transactions and legal matters;
  • Special projects or other duties as assigned
