Qualified candidates must be licensed to practice law in Maryland, or eligible to do so within 30 days. Are you driven to meet with clients all day, every day? No previous estate planning experience is required. The salary range for this position is $135,000 - $150,000.

Our Clients Stouffer Legal has a robust marketing funnel and prospective clients attend a sales presentation in a group setting before being scheduled for individual appointments with our attorneys. Prospective clients are prequalified and when they meet with you, they're ready to buy. You don't have to find your own clients, or schedule them, the company will do all of that for you-your job is lead the initial meeting, listen to their circumstances and their goals, connect with them and earn their trust, close the sale, and collect partial payment. Our Firm Stouffer Legal operates differently than most law firms, selling Estate Plans and associated services at a flat rate rather than racking up billable hours. And, best of all, we promote work-life balance with a 45-50 hour workweek. Stouffer Legal was founded in 2013 and has a culture of teamwork and mutual support. Once a month the company closes down our operations and has teambuilding and training events, such as scavenger hunts, field day, Topgolf, and murder mystery parties. We service clients in Maryland, Washington D.C., and Pennsylvania.
Our Team In this role, you'd be working with a team of 15 other estate planning and estate administration attorneys. Our culture is very team-based and supportive, with attorneys cheering each other on after they've closed a sale, and celebrating together when we've hit our weekly and monthly goals. Our attorneys see clients at our two offices - our main office in Towson and our newest office located in Annapolis. In this position you'd be working out of our Towson office.
Your Day Your work hours will be 8:00a-5:30p Monday through Friday, with an occasional schedule of 7am-6pm based on the needs of the business. No weekend work is required or expected. Client meetings are scheduled for 90 minutes, and you will have up to 5 client meetings in a day. Client meetings are held between 10am and 5:30pm. Team meetings are held daily from 8am-10am and this is when you will have time to interact with your peers, building relationships, and receiving additional training and instruction from the leadership team. This is not a remote position, your worksite would be our office located in Towson , Maryland. There is no drafting required in this position, our paralegals prepare the documents for your review. There is no expectation of court work or litigation.

You enjoy predictability and routine, and are able to see clients back-to-back, up to five 90-minute meetings in a day.
