We are currently seeking Energy Lawyer focused in Oil & Gas to join our client's legal department.

Responsibilities :

• Drafting and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts such as oil and gas leases, gathering agreements, processing agreements, and transmission agreements.
• Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local government laws and regulations.
• Working with and advising business clients directly, as well as providing guidance and practical solutions in an in-house energy-focused environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 5+ years of experience working as an energy attorney in the oil and gas industry.
• Experience drafting, negotiating and managing a wide range of energy transactions.
• Additional energy experience in other industries a plus.
• Active bar license in the state in which you currently reside.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with energy commodities with an emphasis on pipelines and terminals.
• Experience counseling on energy compliance matters.
