RESPONSIBILITIES 

The Legal Intern will assist with a variety of legal projects, which are expected to include: 

  • legal research on licensing and patent infringement/enforcement issues 
  • analyses of the patent litigation landscape and litigation prep
  • assisting with license compliance matters

  

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Strong interest in patents and intellectual property law 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills 
  • Attention to detail 
  • Positive and professional attitude, including dependability and timeliness
  • Ability to research legal and business issues and learn new concepts quickly 
  • Experience with online research tools, as well as Westlaw, Lexis/Nexis, and Bloomberg

ELIGIBILITY 

Working towards a graduate law degree (JD or LLM) at an accredited law school with a strong academic record; recent grads who are within 6 months of graduation are also eligible to apply. Must be available to work full-time Monday-Friday for 6 months between May 2024 – December 2024.
 

Start date for the internship is as follows: (*note* these dates are not flexible)

  • Monday, May 20, 2024
  • Monday, June 3, 2024
  • Monday, June 17, 2024

 

The San Francisco/Bay Area base hourly range for this internship position is $45-58/hr and can vary if outside of this location. Our hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific hourly range and perks and benefits for your location during the hiring process.
