Job Description:

The counsel will directly support the legal team and the needs of the company in a range of matters.

Key Responsibilities And Essential Job Functions

• Draft and negotiate a variety of contracts, including customer services agreements, business associate agreements, data protection agreements, non-disclosure agreements, host waivers and assignment & assumption agreements
• Maintain forms and negotiating playbook for customer contracts, including MSAs, BAAs, and DPAs.
• Support customer service and operations personnel to resolve legal issues and disputes arising from service delivery and data center operations.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by the General Counsel

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate degree with membership in at least 1 state bar
• 15 years prior experience with contract drafting and negotiation
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Curiosity and experience with emerging technology products and services
• Flexible
• Knowledge of technology industry or a desire to learn

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous in-house experience

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods of time
• Moderate or advanced keyboard usage
• Limited travel may be required

Base Pay Range : Annualized salary range offered for this position is estimated to be $112,500 - $133,100 . However, the actual pay range depends on each candidate’s experience, location, and qualifications.

Variable Pay : Discretionary annual bonus, based on personal and company performance.
