We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced In-House Counsel to join our prestigious family office. As our primary legal representative, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert advice and guidance on various legal matters, with a strong focus on litigation, investment strategies and representation. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a proven track record in complex litigation and investment law to join a dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive legal counsel to the family office on litigation and investment-related matters.
  • Manage and oversee all litigation cases and disputes, including drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and representing the family office in court proceedings.
  • Advise on investment strategies, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and mitigating potential risks.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investments and assist in negotiating and drafting investment-related agreements.
  • Stay up to date with changes in legislation and regulations that may impact the family office's operations, informing and advising relevant stakeholders accordingly.
  • Provide legal support and guidance on various other matters, such as contracts, and corporate governance.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing law, with a strong focus on litigation, collections and investment representation.
  • Extensive knowledge of litigation procedures, including case management, discovery, and trial preparation.
  • Proven experience in representing clients in high-stakes litigation cases.
  • Sound understanding of investment law, securities regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders and external parties.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and provide proactive legal advice to support the family office's objectives.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $140,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year
