Company Description Maccini Voccio & Jordan, LLC is a growing, boutique, civil litigation law firm, specializing in defense of labor and employment claims, civil rights matters, and defense of municipalities.

Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Attorney in Middletown, Connecticut. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal advice and representation to clients in a variety of practice areas with an emphasis on defense of Labor and Employment claims. The Associate Attorney will also conduct legal research, attend depositions and court proceedings, assist in drafting legal documents and assist in trial preparation.

Qualifications

  • Law degree from an accredited institution
  • Admitted to practice in Connecticut
  • Experience in Labor and Employment Law
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Connecticut state and federal court practice
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience in municipal law is a plus, but not required
