The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Global Lead, Clinical Contracting , as the Clinical Legal Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and streamlining the administrative and operational aspects of the Clinical Legal team, to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness. This is a hybrid role, which requires some onsite work.

The Role:

Develop, implement, and maintain efficient legal processes, workflows, and procedures for the Clinical Contracting team.
Monitor, analyze and report on Clinical Contract metrics, including agreement volumes and performance. Provide data-driven insights to enable the Global Lead, Clinical Contracting, to make informed decisions about the department’s operations.
Facilitate onboarding and ongoing training programs for the Clinical Contracting team and Clinical Legal, and as necessary, for the Clinical Contracts Specialist Team. Support professional development activities of the Clinical Contracting team by arranging lunch and learns on topics of interest and sessions with external and internal speakers.
Maintain the Clinical Legal Team’s knowledge management databases, including the team's SharePoint and OneNote sites, the library of templates and fallback language, ensuring currency.
In collaboration with Legal Services and Operations, maintain the department’s legal technology solutions, including matter and contract management systems and e-billing.
Support budgeting and legal spend management activities. Process and track invoices. Interface with relevant CSL finance systems and external vendors to ensure the timely processing of invoices and the establishment of POs.
Maintain the Clinical Legal Team’s iNet site, ensuring that all information is kept current and accessible by clients.
Provide support for all the administrative needs of the Clinical Legal Team, including word processing, arranging document translations and notarizations, booking travel, expense reporting, arranging events, coordination of signatures, database management.
Support any ad hoc tasks or projects as required by the Clinical Legal team.

Your Skills and Experience:

Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in legal operations or project management, ideally in the pharmaceutical industry.
Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device industry.
Strong negotiating and drafting skills.
Good communication and stakeholder influencing skills.
