This is an excellent opportunity for someone who already possesses baseline experience in the family law and/or civil litigation experience (at least 3 years of post-law school experience, but the position could be scaled up for an individual with significantly more experience), but is looking for an opportunity to have more control over the litigation strategy and client relations. • At least 3 years of litigation experience in Virginia state courts, but more or less years of experience may be equally sufficient depending on the quality of the candidate's experience. less experience may be sufficient and the position could be scaled up for more experienced applicants.

Additionally, the following attributes are preferred in an ideal candidate:

  • Ability to speak with clients in Spanish;
  • Certified as a Guardian ad litem ; and
  • Enjoys writing on legal subjects outside of the documents related to litigation (like blog posts).
