About the Role:

StockX is seeking a knowledgeable legal operations specialist with 1-2 years of corporate experience in customer service, project management or a legal operations position.  Ideal candidates will enjoy working at a high-growth, fast-paced company where they will have responsibility and ownership over both traditional corporate matters as well as new experiences and learning opportunities at an innovative company that is revolutionizing the e-commerce model.  As a member of the StockX legal team, you must be a motivated self-starter; be able to handle multiple and diverse issues at once; and be comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.  We strive to provide each team member continued growth and development at StockX.       

 

What You Will Do:

  • Manage state filings and correspondence with state agencies, including working with the StockX Fraud, Transportation and Customer Service teams to respond to consumer complaints and/or disputes; provide support as needed for small claims court cases and litigation matters
  • Work with the Fraud and Customer Service teams to respond to law enforcement and government agency subpoenas and search warrants
  • Support the legal team with signatures, filing and maintaining legal documents, as well as other administrative tasks as needed
  • Project manage legal and compliance operations initiatives such as implementation of new procedures, workflows, processes and software
  • Serve as the touchpoint for day-to-day legal inquiries from the business into our legal inbox and route mail correspondence to the relevant legal or business contacts
  • Provide day-to-day support to our legal team as needed
  • Participate in keeping a light-hearted and fun atmosphere as we chase signatures, negotiate contracts, expand globally and be great partners to the rest of the business 

 

About You:

  • At least 1-2 years customer service, project management or legal operations experience at a fast paced company
  • A positive, flexible attitude and comfort doing and learning new things 
  • Consistently demonstrate strong common sense, good business judgment and great multi-tasking and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work with minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, G Suite, DropBox, and Slack platforms     
  • Notary public or able to become a notary public

Pursuant to the various pay transparency laws/acts, the base salary range is 55,000-60,000  plus opportunities for benefits (e.g., medical, dental), equity and discretionary bonuses. Compensation is dependent on geography and may vary.
