Litigation Counsel, Attorney, Trial Attorney

Recently named by the Daily Journal as one of California's top boutique business litigation firms, Klein & Wilson seeks to add a senior attorney with at least seven years of civil litigation experience in California. We are looking for attorneys who share the firm’s vision of providing excellent legal services and our commitment to the highest ethical conduct. Klein & Wilson was founded in 1994 and is one of the most well-respected firms in Orange County. We have recovered almost $300 million for clients and have saved clients nearly $1.5 billion in contested matters. We won several “Trial of the Year” awards. Our attorneys are leaders in the community, serving on respected boards of directors and holding leadership positions in influential legal organizations. We take a team approach to litigation, with lawyers working side by side at the office, developing case strategy and executing it. We need attorneys to run cases actively: take and defend depositions, prepare and argue important motions, and try cases.

We like each other and have fun together (e.g., quarterly dinners at great restaurants, regular pizza days, annual retreats, annual holiday parties, etc.). The firm maintains a reasonable minimum billing requirement of 1,600 hours per year so attorneys can focus on the quality of their legal work, developing their own clients, and enjoying their life outside the office. The firm encourages and supports involvement in community organizations and bar associations, pays continuing education expenses, provides health insurance, a generous bonus structure, profit sharing, and a 401K plan. While the firm offers the ability to work remotely as needed, we expect attorneys will work predominantly at our Newport Beach office.

The base salary range for this position is $190,000 - $215,000 , plus bonuses and benefits.
