As a general Corporate Attorney, you will: · Provide comprehensive legal advice to closely held businesses across a myriad of areas including startup and formation, corporate governance, contracts, regulatory compliance, employment law, business succession planning, and dissolution · Work on a variety of corporate transactions including mergers, acquisitions, restructuring, recapitalizations, and joint ventures · Perform legal research and draft a wide variety of agreements to support client objectives The ideal candidate will: · Possess a Juris Doctor from an accredited law school · Have a minimum of 3 years of general corporate experience at a private law firm · Be licensed to practice law in Minnesota · Demonstrate strong analytical, creative and problem-solving skills · Be curious, entrepreneurial, and motivated to support private companies and their owners · Have the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment We offer: · Competitive salary · Unlimited PTO · Flexible work schedule (hybrid setting after a period of on-site work) · Health and dental insurance · Employer paid life insurance · 401k with employer match · Professional development assistance If you are interested in joining our team please email a cover letter and resume to hr@sdmlawyers.com.
