Job Description

BWW Law Group, LLC, an "AV" rated real estate default law firm with offices located in Rockville, MD, and Richmond, VA, is seeking a full-time Real Estate Attorney in our Richmond, VA office. The successful candidate will have 1-3 years real estate experience, and will have conducted settlements, will understand title and insurability issues, and will have prepared some closing documents. Opportunity to handle some litigation cases if interested. This position is full time in our office. Our Richmond office provides free parking.

Responsibilities :

Review HUD-1/ALTA statements prepared by purchasers at foreclosure sale

Review REO deeds

Disburse sales proceeds

Review title and prepare and review notices of sale for legal sufficiency for VA foreclosure sales.

Prioritize and manage a high volume portfolio of work with strict deadlines and diligent attention to detail.

Address inquiries related to title/notices of foreclosure sale

Attend foreclosure sales as needed.

Qualifications :

Admission to the Virginia Bar required;

Experience resolving title problems through litigation or negotiation is desired.

1-3 years of Real Estate Law desired, but recently admitted attorneys are encouraged to apply.

The ideal candidate will have superior oral and written communication skills.

Be detail-oriented, organized and able to multitask.

Comfortable working independently and with a team.
