Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior legal counsel in offering comprehensive legal advice and guidance to the company.
  • Draft and meticulously review legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
  • Support the preparation and negotiation of various commercial transactions.
  • Participate actively in corporate governance matters, ensuring legal compliance across all operations.
  • Provide legal support for mergers, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, offering legal guidance on various business initiatives.
  • Conduct internal legal training and awareness programs as required, ensuring a high level of legal literacy across the organization.
  • Stay current with developments in relevant legal areas and proactively share knowledge with the legal team.

 

Required Skills:

  • Strong legal research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in legal software and research tools.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development and continuous learning.

 

Nice- to have skills:

  • • Experience in corporate governance matters.
  • • Familiarity with mergers, acquisitions, and strategic transactions.
  • • Previous involvement in internal legal training programs.
  • •  Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance.
  • •  Experience in programming skills.
  • •  Accounting/ Finance industry experience.

 

Education & Experience:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and admission in at least one state) or the ability to become admitted within a short period of time.
  • 0-2 years of experience practicing law, including internships and clerkships.
