About the Role:

We’re looking for a full-time Director level Senior Corporate Counsel to join the legal team, reporting to our General Counsel. You will have a chance to help shape the company’s legal function at an exciting, fast paced company, taking over the identity verification market.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the Corporate Legal team and support corporate, compliance and general legal matters, such as M&A, financing and secondary transactions, IPO preparedness, litigation, internal governance and compliance and HR
• Assist our General Counsel in identifying and advising management on legal issues and risks and offer creative risk mitigation solutions
• Create and improve processes and policies

Qualifications:

• 5-10+ years of post JD experience advising technology companies on corporate matters, public company and IPO experience is necessary.
• Experience as an in-house counsel supporting employment and litigation matters
• JD from an accredited law school and active Bar membership
• You love being a lawyer, owning your projects, are not afraid to voice your opinion and strive to constantly improve yourself and everything you are involved with
• You are a problem solver who is not afraid to make decisions under ambiguous circumstances, with tight deadlines, and work efficiently and independently on multiple projects with competing deadlines
• A bias for closing deals and finding pragmatic solutions to any issues you encounter.
• You can see the big picture, but also the finer details
• You can adapt to change in an extremely fast paced, dynamic environment
• You can communicate in a professional and respectful manner

Salary Disclosure:

Base Salary range: $180,000-235,000

_This represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on factors including geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other job related factors. Socure's compensation and rewards package for full time roles includes a market competitive salary, equity, comprehensive benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans or an annual discretionary performance bonus.
