Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Labor and Employment Attorney to join our legal team. As a Labor and Employment Attorney, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and guidance to our company and clients, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations, and representing clients in employment-related litigation. As a Labor and Employment Attorney, you will play a crucial role in protecting the rights of workers and employers while navigating complex legal matters. You will have the opportunity to work closely with other attorneys, professionals, and clients, providing strategic advice and counseling on a wide range of labor and employment issues. Responsibilities

  • Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in labor and employment matters, including discrimination, harassment, wage and hour disputes, wrongful termination, and employee benefits.
  • Conduct legal research to support labor and employment cases and advise clients on best practices and compliance matters.
  • Draft and review employment contracts, policies, and procedures.
  • Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and negotiations.
  • Stay updated on current labor and employment laws and regulations and communicate any changes or updates to relevant parties.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals to develop legal strategies and case management plans.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring excellent service and client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
  • Minimum ten years of experience practicing labor and employment law.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local labor and employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully handling labor and employment cases.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
