As our Labor and Employment Attorney, you'll play a pivotal role in providing legal counsel on labor and employment matters. From litigating employment issues to shaping HR policies, your expertise will drive compliance and best practices across our operations in North America.   Key Responsibilities:

- Provide expert legal advice on employee relations, labor law, and compliance matters.
- Manage EEOC complaints and ensure timely resolution.
- Stay abreast of labor laws and regulations, particularly in California, with knowledge of New York and Florida laws being a plus.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop strategies for mitigating employment issues.
- Develop, review, and implement policies to ensure compliance with relevant laws.
- Conduct legal research, draft documents, and represent the organization in negotiations.
- Offer guidance and training to internal teams on labor law compliance and best practices.
- Oversee external counsel as needed.   About You:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school, with active membership in the Florida bar or ability to become Authorized House Counsel.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience practicing labor and employment law, with specific experience in California.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal and state labor laws, with familiarity in New York and Florida laws.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Excellent negotiation and dispute resolution abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Dedication to upholding ethical standards and delivering high-quality legal services.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, counsel, and stakeholders.
