Legal.io is working with a tech company seeking an experienced In-House Paralegal for a 6 month contract. This is a fully remote position. This role will support in 3 different ares: Corporate, Litigation, and Administrative / Vendor onboarding.

Corporate Responsibilities:

• Main function of that role will be entity management for both domestic and international subsidiaries
• Responsible for ensuring all US registrations are being renewed when they need to be.
• Ensuring all international entities are compliant.
• Support on the administering of a new entity management tool.
• Answering entity-related questions from colleagues.
• This person will also be supporting financial reporting - working with corporate counsel on SEC filings
• This person must have Section 13, 1934 Act, 10Q & 10K experience.

Litigation Responsibilities:

• Main responsibilities is litigation matter management and handling third party subpoenas
• Gatekeeper for the litigation team
• Must bring understanding and previous experience with the legal hold process.

Administrative Responsibilities:

• The paralegal will also handle law firm/vendor onboarding for the legal operations team and the point of contact within legal.
• They will partner with the legal team member to ensure all initial onboarding processes are taken care of.

Hours: 40 Hours / Week Location : Remote Duration: 6 Months (June - December 2024) Hourly Pay Rate: $60 - $75 / hour ($120,000 - $150,000 annualized)
