Associate General Counsel, Private Equity
Our Client, A $4bn Private Equity firm is looking intelligent, highly organized, articulate, and motivated individual to join the legal and compliance team.
Primary Responsibilities: ·Draft, review, and negotiate all fund documents including fund PPMs and investor side letters. ·Collaborate with firm’s Investor Relations team in terms of review of marketing materials, investor presentations, and RFPs/ DDQ in connection with fundraisings. ·Prepare and review various internal and external legal documents related to employment matters, NDAs with respect to private company investments, and vendor reviews related to various service provider contracts related to fund operations. ·Collaborate with the firm’s compliance and finance teams on the preparation of various regulatory filings and monitoring of economic and governance terms in fund governing documents and investor side letters.
Qualification and Experience Qualifications: ·JD Degree from an accredited, top-tier law school. ·3-5 years' prior legal experience with either a top law firm and/or in-house experience at a Hedge Fund
