The Phoenix office Labor & Employment Group is seeking an associate attorney with 2-6 years of experience.  Qualified candidates will have strong interpersonal skills, writing and analytical ability, keen attention to detail, and the desire and initiative to take ownership. Significant litigation experience is a plus (even if not employment litigation), including day-to-day responsibility on cases. Our practice includes employment class actions (including trade secret and restrictive covenant cases).  This position is a heavy litigation position; it is not a consulting position.

The right person will want trial experience (or have it already) and be willing to take depositions, cover hearings, interview witnesses, handle written discovery, and write persuasive briefs. The right candidate will also have demonstrable substantive knowledge of basic employment concepts under Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, and similar federal and state employment laws.

The position offers the candidate the opportunity to assume significant responsibility. The candidate must have strong academic credentials and references and be a member of the Arizona State Bar or willing to quickly become one.
