Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY: The Compliance & Ethics Analyst will leverage their expertise in compliance and ethics to effectively support NCLH's global compliance and ethics function. Responsibilities include assisting with a variety of compliance and ethics matters, such as hotline complaints, audits and reviews, training and support for team members on regulations and company policies, and third-party risk management.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support a world class global compliance and ethics function.
  • Assist in creating and implementing compliance programs and policies for ethics, anti-bribery, anti-corruption, trade sanctions, confidentiality, conflicts of interest, asset use, insider trading, privacy, import/export regulations, human rights, records retention, and third-party compliance.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Monitor and handle hotline complaints.
  • Assist with NCLH's third-party risk management program to ensure effective oversight of NCLH's suppliers.
  • Assist with effective and creative ethics and compliance training and awareness campaigns.
  • Assist with monitoring effectiveness of NCLH's compliance programs and identifying areas of risk. Work closely with Internal Audit, Enterprise Risk Management and ESG teams.
  • Work with vendors and internal stakeholders to complete Know Your Customer (KYC) reports and relevant documentation.
  • Provide support in connection with internal investigations.
  • Perform other job-related functions as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

DEGREE TYPE: Bachelor's Degree

FIELD(S) OF STUDY: Related field of study; or any equivalent combination of relevant background and work experience.

 

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 2 years of domestic and international compliance experience, preferably in a multi-national public company or leading global law firm.
  • Experience in legal and regulatory concepts includes a strong understanding of laws, regulations, and compliance frameworks across various industries, enabling effective interpretation, application, and risk mitigation.

 

COMPETENCIES/SKILLS:

  • Familiarity with the required elements of effective compliance programs and relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards is preferred, especially if the candidate has an in-depth knowledge of anti-corruption laws (e.g., FCPA, UK Bribery Action), trade sanctions (OFAC), and data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Excellent people and communication skills and ethical judgment.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Familiarity with governance, risk and compliance tools and systems (OneTrust, NAVEX, D&B Risk Analytics, etc.) is preferred.
