Paralegal – Bankruptcy

We are currently searching for an experienced Bankruptcy Paralegal for our Pittsburgh, PA location.
Hybrid work schedule available for this position.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Monitor ECF dockets for a high-volume practiceDraft proofs of claim, certificates of service and simple motionsManage high volume of ECFsMonitor upcoming file deadlines and interact with attorneys to communicate those deadlinesKeep up to date on local rules and practicesCommunicate with Courts/Court-Clerks regarding administrative matters
Required Education/Experience
Bachelor’s Degree or Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent experience as a Paralegal5+ years of prior law firm experienceA minimum of 2 years of prior experience in bankruptcy, preferredExperience in all phases of the bankruptcy process representing debtor and creditors in complex business/corporate Chapter 11 proceedingsMust be proficient with ECFProficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)Ability to organize and prioritize workload and anticipate needsOutstanding written and verbal communicationsAbility to professionally interact with clients, attorneys and staffAbility to work overtime, as required
