Work with firm teams to guide and support legal teams with litigation support and eDiscovery services, while ensuring quality and timeliness of each project. This position requires a focus on Relativity technical skills across the product. In particular, the Sr. Analyst will assist with the coordination of all-phases of eDiscovery on matters while executing advanced technical skills, including analytics, early case assessment, document review workflow planning and execution, including active learning and other technology review features, and document productions. The Sr. Analyst is also an active participant in the training, education, and mentoring of fellow team members and case teams (as needed) on eDiscovery processes and procedures, industry best practices associated with electronically stored information, and the use of litigation technologies, specifically the firm’s eDiscovery platform, Relativity.Sr. Analyst position will also assist with the completion of social media and website/webpage collections and captures.Responsible for handling multiple projects concurrently and providing technical support to the department and case teams, ranging from strategic level technical expertise and methodologies to effective Relativity database design and back-end operational support.Responsibilities include: Perform standard platform (Relativity) support including primary aspects of Relativity, specifically:Creating firm standardized workspacesLoading documents, including incoming productionsCreating custom views and layouts as directed or identified by legal teams and/or document review teamsAssisting with document searches, including vetting applicable search terms and/or deployment of analyticsWorking with various document production formats, styles, issues, and re-productionsManipulating load files (DAT, OPT) to solve problemsAssist with testing new workflows and new features and integrationsAdvanced features of Relativity, including:Working with STRs and vetting and refinement of search term syntaxEmail threading workflows and batch reviewVersed in details and usage of textual near duplicate analysisSetting up review batches based on various criteriaConceptual analytics, analytics indexes, and clustersSecurity access settingsUse of Excel, ReadySuite, or other tools to solve technical issuesVarious analyses of documents and metadataNative redaction (e.g., Blackout) and other advanced toolsActive learning and/or other technology assisted review features and supportCustom workflows and/or using Relativity scripts to solve problemsSupport Practice Support Department Manager and assist with development and deployment of department workflows, processes, and documentation to further department initiativesHarness creativity and collaboration with team members to innovate and solve litigation support challengesDedication to self-education regarding eDiscovery industry news, developments, challenges, technologies, and other practice support topicsProvide visibility to legal teams as a “go-to” person for technical practice support solutionsAdvanced knowledge and technical aptitude of Relativity and understanding of other eDiscovery platformsBasic understanding of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (“EDRM”) and various phases of litigation mattersProvide off-hours support, as needed and necessaryREQUIRED:Ability to analyze and tackle novel problems in the litigation support spaceSuperior knowledge and technical aptitude and capabilities operating litigation technology systems and platforms, with specific emphasis in RelativityAdvanced knowledge of industry-standard applications and trending best practices, in conjunction with excellent organization and project management skills, including planning and execution of practice support projectsStrong organizational and technical skills with litigation support tasks such as advanced searching, review, and document productionsRelativity certifications considered a plusAssociates or Bachelor degree preferred in conjunction with 5+ years of related work experience, or equivalent *Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
