We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Coverage Attorney to join our legal team, specializing in California insurance law. The ideal candidate will have experience analyzing complex insurance policies, providing legal opinions, and litigating coverage disputes. This role requires strong legal research, writing, and litigation skills to represent clients effectively in coverage matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret insurance policies, including CGL, D&O, E&O, property, and excess/umbrella coverage, under California law.
• Provide legal counsel on coverage determinations and advise insurers, businesses, and policyholders on rights and obligations.
• Draft detailed coverage opinions, reservation of rights letters, and declination letters.
• Litigate insurance coverage disputes, including declaratory judgment actions and bad faith claims, in California state and federal courts.
• Manage all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, dispositive motions, and trial preparation.
• Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations.
• Stay updated on evolving California insurance regulations and case law.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Colorado Bar license.
• 4+ years of experience handling insurance coverage litigation and analysis.
