NEW EXCLUSIVE GENERAL COUNSEL SEARCH
Our client, the largest Jewish donor advised Fund with more than $3 billion in assets and over 5,000 fund holders, is seeking its first General Counsel. This is a career opportunity to be part of a small, collaborative team directing over $1 billion a year to thousands of charities around the world.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the General Counsel will work closely with the executive team, board of directors, and other stakeholders on a wide range of issues, including corporate governance, regulatory compliance, contracts, employment law, complex asset transactions, and estate settlement. The successful candidate will have at least 7 years relevant legal experience with a focus on nonprofit organizations, donor-advised funds, and tax and trust and estates. Strong knowledge of corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and contract law are also key.
Salary range is $250,000 -$275,000. The benefits package is robust, including generous vacation, and the hours are extremely reasonable hours, with flexibility for some remote work.
