Associate Attorney - Litigation Location: Chicago, IL Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000 annually About the Opportunity We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join a well-regarded national litigation firm with expertise in handling complex civil matters. The firm focuses on a variety of areas, including product liability, general liability, toxic tort, commercial litigation, and local government. In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage a caseload across multiple regions, collaborating with a team of professionals to deliver high-quality legal solutions for clients in a wide variety of industries. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct depositions, including preparing witnesses for depositions and trial
• Independently manage a litigation caseload and oversee all phases of litigation
• Prepare court filings and service to counsel, with experience in e-filing procedures
• Provide trial preparation and support, including preparing exhibits and other trial materials
• Review and analyze discovery responses and pleadings to ensure accuracy and thoroughness
• Prepare and respond to discovery requests, including document production and motions
• Maintain accurate time records for all billable activities

Candidate Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• One or more years of litigation experience, with a strong understanding of motion practice and depositions
• Experience with motion practice and depositions, including taking a lead role in plaintiff and expert depositions
• Admitted to practice in Illinois or Missouri
• Ability to work independently with strong organizational skills
• Proven ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities efficiently
• Superior research and writing skills, with an ability to handle complex legal matters
