Role Description This is a part-time role for a California Licensed Healthcare Lawyer. The Lawyer will be responsible for providing legal advice and guidance on various healthcare-related issues, including compliance, regulatory matters, scope of practice, and employment law. The role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, representing clients in regulatory hearings (remotely), researching legal issues, and collaborating with clients to develop practical legal solutions.

Qualifications 5+

years experience with healthcare compliance, regulatory matters, and legal frameworks (e.g., MSO/MSA structures, PLLCs, HIPAA, OSHA, Stark, anti-kickback laws, professional liability)
Strong contract law and negotiation skills, particularly in healthcare settings
Proficiency in providing legal guidance on scope of practice, delegation, employment law, and fee-splitting
Ability to conduct thorough legal research and apply findings effectively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and remotely
Juris Doctor (JD) degree and admission to the bar in California
Experience in the healthcare industry is highly desirable
