Commercial Litigation Counsel California or Arizona
Our client is an AmLaw 100 firm that prioritizes a strong and flexible culture, DEI and community give-back. Since 2018, the firm has increased its profits, steadily climbing the AmLaw list while simultaneously reducing turnover, avoiding much of the burnout and other forms of attrition affecting other firms of its caliber.
They are seeking a Commercial Litigation Senior Counsel to join their team. This is an off-track, senior-level position with a base comp. range of approximately $200k-$275k (depending on experience and location) Billable expectation is 1900, although the firm is open to reduced billable arrangements for the right candidate.
This hire will mainly represent non-profits and religious institutions in litigation and during government investigations, advising on the management of legal risk and other corporate legal matters, overseeing internal investigations, and offering guidance on crisis management and public relations.
Candidates should have 10+ years of commercial litigation experience including, but not limited to, experience conducting factual investigations and discovery, preparing pleadings, taking depositions, arguing motions, participating in mediation, and communicating with clients. Experience in both state and federal court is preferred, and experience in administrative matters and arbitrations is beneficial.
