The Legal and Executive Support Coordinator provides and coordinates comprehensive and high-level administrative support to attorneys in the Legal Department. This role ensures the efficient management of legal operations through document control, comprehensive legal assistance, and seamless coordination with internal and external clients. To be successful in this role, you will bring strong organizational and follow-up skills, advanced proficiency in MO365 systems, and both the ability to work independently as well as with close collaboration with staff from various departments across the organization.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain a comprehensive system of legal documents, records, and databases, ensuring accurate organization and easy retrieval.
  • Assist legal team in conducting thorough legal research, drafting legal documents, and reviewing contracts and agreements for accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate effectively with external counsel and legal vendors, facilitating seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Process and track all legal correspondence, subpoenas, and records requests, ensuring timely responses and adherence to legal deadlines.
  • Provide essential support for closings, board meetings, and corporate governance initiatives, including preparation of materials, coordination of logistics, and minute-taking.
  • Facilitate loan records management; prepare summaries and reports as requested
  • Manage company contracts repository; prepare summaries and reports as requested
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and arranging travel itineraries for legal team members.
  • Prepare and distribute professional correspondence, reports, and presentations, ensuring clear communication and attention to detail.
  • Efficiently manage incoming and outgoing mail and invoices, prioritizing tasks and maintaining accurate records.

Education And Experience

  • Proven experience in providing administrative support to legal and executive teams.
  • Strong proficiency in English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated expertise in utilizing various computer software applications, including document management systems, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
  • Proven ability to adapt to new technologies and digital tools to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Proven ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the seafood industry preferred.

Work Environment and Schedule

Position requires onsite presence in the Seattle, WA or Anchorage, AK office. A hybrid work schedule may be available if the candidate can effectively manage the workload. This is a full-time position that requires punctuality.

Physical Demands

While performing the essential function and job duties associated with the job, the employee is regularly required to sit, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift

and move up to 25 pounds.

The employee is frequently required to set an example by consistently modeling high standards of honesty and integrity. Presentation and sharing of information should be handled in a direct, appropriate, and helpful manner. Salary Disclosure

The typical hourly pay range for this role is $28.76-$42.91 per hour. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills.
